classic trek with a distinctive Tibetan flavour. Circumnavigate
the holy mountain Manaslu, considered sacred to the Nepalese.
Described as nothing short of magical this journey begins
in Gorkha. Follow trails through thick fir forests, dramatic
landscapes, wild and glacial valleys and over high mountain
passes into the heart of the Manaslu group. Follow undulating
routes north, between ridge tops and river gorges, into the
wooded central Himalayas. Round the eastern shoulder of Manaslu
(8,163m / 26,781 ft) to enter the high plains of Tibet. Meet
rugged people of Tibetan stock. Visit traditional villages
with their
flat-rooted timber houses and workshops in secluded Buddhist
