It is often said that travel is the best education. Educational expeditions and programs for schools, colleges, universities and youth groups provide an opportunity for learning on many levels, as students (and tutors or other staff members) experience the wonders of the Himalaya. Our educational programs offer unique opportunities for learning individually and as a group.

For example, students of geography, travel, biology, botany, agriculture, social and environmental sciences, art and literature can learn about their subject areas first hand from experienced instructors and guides. Other benefits can include better teamworking, confidence building, increased understanding of different cultures and ways of living as well as a wider view of the wonderful and diverse world in which we live.

We can tailor itineraries to meet interests, syllabus or research requirements, for individuals, small groups or entire classes. In addition, we can arrange for students and staff to undertake voluntary work or a specific short project within local communities (for example in village schools), as part of the educational experience. We focus our educational expeditions in Nepal and will work closely with you to organize a safe, educational and memorable expedition for your students or staff, taking care of all necessary arrangements to suit your requirements and objectives.

We can help you with any planning or briefing events you may want to organise for your students, staff or parents whilst you are planning or raising support for your expedition. For a small extra charge, we can also provide a pack of materials to help with your briefings and planning activities and we’re always happy to discuss any queries or ideas with you free of charge.
